Fireworks & Ice Cream

Nana bought some fireworks to shoot on New Years Eve, but the weather was so bad we did them New Years Day. Cora was scared and didn't like them as always, but she stuck it out anyway. After Grandpa shot them all off we played with sparklers. The girls were a little timid at first, but had fun after watching Daniel - he'll do anything!

Laura was the most scared to do it.

All the kids were getting homesick, even Cora. They were all off schedule and tired, so there was lots of whining from all of them. Nana served up some ice cream and it was all smiles!

Cora and Daniel before bed. I knew Cora would still be asleep when we left for the airport so they said their goodbyes before going to bed. I hate that they live so far away - especially since they got along so great!
